The Alliance is a group of employers committed to promoting quality child care by identifying and addressing the child care issues of working families as they affect today's employees and tomorrow's workforce.
Based on information from a workplace study, we have developed the projects for each of the identified areas; Quality of child care (STEPS), Parent Education/Resource & Referral

-Teacher training in child development and assistance with attaining the Child Development Associate credential.
-Assistance for centers and homes to move through STEPS to Accreditation
-Over 20,000 hours of quality training for child care providers
-33 teachers who received their Child Development Associate Credential
-(25) providers, caring for over 16,000 children have participated in the STEPS to Accreditation program
-(5) centers are NAEYC accredited
-(2) family child care providers completed STEPS and are accredited by the National Association for Family Child Care
-(1) center is waiting on accreditation
-(10) centers are working toward accreditation.
