Research shows a direct correlation between high-quality early learning and children’s positive long-term outcomes in life. NAEYC accreditation helps teachers and other staff of early learning programs develop a shared understanding and commitment to quality. NAEYC’s Benefits of Accreditation page will give you insight into how NAEYC accreditation supports children, teaching staff, administration, families, and community members.
STEPS is an Accreditation Facilitation Project utilizing NAEYC standards and supports the quality improvement efforts of child care centers, preschools, and other early learning programs as a part of broader efforts to raise program quality. Additionally, technical assistance and other support to programs working on NAEYC Accreditation is provided through individually tailored services.
